1.Fly Circle (Rs. 3,785) - The Fly Circle B430 has a QWERTY keyboard, which is great for messaging. It has a 2.2” screen with a QVGA resolution, a 1.3 Mega Pixel and a 3.5mm jack. It also has Bluetooth and GPRS. Special Features of this phone include Nimbuzz an all in one messenger, Snaptu an all in one social networking browser, Opera Mini and a Tracker with remote control.

2.Nokia 2730 classic (Rs. 4,700) - The Nokia 2730 is one of the few phones that offer 3G functionality in the entry-level segment. The phone has a 2” QVGA display and also has a 2 MP camera. Apart from that this phone also has a built-in music player and FM radio and can support cards up to 2GB. The phone is available in 2 colors: black and dark magenta. The phone also supports audio and video recording and plays a variety of audio formats.

3.Samsung S5200 (Rs. 6300) - The Samsung Metro S5200 has a 2.2” QVGA TFT screen, a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera with LED Flash and 4x digital zoom. It also has music recognition abilities. And has Google Mail and Search options. The phone is a decent option for those who would go for good looks, simplicity of use and multimedia functionality.

4.SE C510 (Rs. 8,950) - The SE C510 has 3.2 Mega Pixel auto focus camera featuring face detection, smile shutter and geo-tagging. It has a 2.2” display featuring portrait and landscape orientation thanks to the accelerometer. It is also Youtube compatible and supports direct prints to SnapFish. It also has music recognition and PictBridge (print directly from your phone to the printer).

5.Nokia 5530 XpressMusic (12,000) – The 5530 is one of the better touchscreen phones from Nokia’s stable. Its got a 2.9” touchscreen display with proximity sensor. Being an Xpressmusic phone, it has great sound quality from the stereo speakers and thought the headphones using the 3.5mm audio jack. It also has FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth and sports a 3.2MP camera.

It comes with 256MB onboard memory, microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Edge. The phone also sports a touch sensitive optical trackpad, a 2MP camera and dedicated music keys

7.Sony Ericsson W995 (Rs 18,000) – The W995 is one of the few phones from SE that comes with a 3.5mm audio jack. The Walkman series phone has great audio output. It has stereo speakers, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and also features TrackID music recognition. The sexy slider also has an 8MP AF camera with image stabilizer as well as geo tagging using the onboard GPS.

8.Nokia N97 Mini (Rs 22,500) – The N97 mini is the squeezed down version of N97. Thankfully Nokia just squeezed the size of the device and not the features. The device has a slide out QWERTY keyboard along with a 3.2” touchscreen display for input. It has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and runs on a 434MHz processor. It comes loaded with Symbian Series 60 v5, has a 5MP camera, 3.5mm audio jack, TV-out and 1200 mAh battery.

9.Apple iPhone 3GS (Rs 35,000) – The iPhone 3GS 16GB version is available in India now. The phone has a 3.5” touchscreen with multi-touch capabilities, which has become the bar for testing touchscreen displays. It comes with a 3.2MP AF camera, 3.5mm audio jack, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth (headset only), as well as GPS onboard. The phone runs on a 600MHz processor with PowerVR SGX535 graphics.

HTC HD2
