Yupp TV – The Indian Streamer

The Yupp TV application is a portable version ofthe YuppTV website which offers the same service of streaming live Indianchannels. The application uses available Internet connection to stream LiveTelevision channels to the iPhone/iPod Touch.

The free app currently has 15 free channelsavailable across languages and genres. Simply selecting a channel takes you tothe video player where the channel starts streaming in full screen. With a goodWiFi connection, the streaming quality is brilliant, however if you have aslower connection, the application automatically reduces the video quality ofthe stream for uninterrupted viewing. What most impressed us is that we did notsee any buffering pop-ups and the video kept on streaming non-stop even when we were on a 256Kbps WiFi connection. There was alag of about 2 seconds between the broadcast on the TV and the stream on theapplication, which is very impressive.
