Nokia unveils smartphones with Symbian Anna

Nokia E6 is a touch and type business phone while X7 has a 4 inch touchscreen with full HD gaming.

Nokia has unveiled two new smartphones E6 and X7 with Symbian Anna, the latest update of the Symbian software. The new softaware assures fresh icons and usability enhancements such as improved text input, a faster browser, refreshed Ovi Maps and higher security.

Speaking at the launch, Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia India Private Limited, said, "With Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7, and a robust line up of exciting new smart devices and user enhancements coming in the next few quarters, we are confident of further strengthening our smartphone user base."

Nokia E6 is the first touch and type smartphone in Nokia E series. It features a 2.46 inch high resolution display along with the full QWERTY keypad. It has WiFi, EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0 in addition to an 8 megapixel camera and Microsoft’s Business apps.

The X7 is a full on entertainer with a 4 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 8 Megapixel camera, HD gaming, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 3.0. It looks different and is made from a combination of seamless stainless steel and glass.

Nokia E6 is priced at Rs. 18,679 and Nokia X7 is priced at Rs. 22,829.
